National Cybersecurity allows community emergency response teams (CERT) and national security organizations (NSO) to automatically collect and analyze the intelligent and actionable insights from a nation's cyber security threats and monitor the cybersecurity of critical organizations, geographies, and economies.
Through the collection and analysis of threat intelligence (machine compromises, infection detection, security diligence, data breaches, user behavior) the National Cybersecurity product generates forensic data for initiating remediation with the appropriate parties.
Our data sources use an outside-in approach to externally collect data from around the world. Much of this publicly available data comes from the main Bitsight Security Rating product.
The data is attributed to a specific country during our network mapping process and through correlation with IP registries and other public information. Once an accurate network map is available, the security information of organizations in a particular country are analyzed and weighed among certain types of risk: confirmed malware infections, the encryption strengths and standards of communications, certain user behavior (that can introduce risk), and data breaches.
