Legacy Bitsight VRM: Configuring Your Vendor Life Cycle Statuses

The Vendor Life Cycle Status helps you identify and keep track of where your vendors are in the vendor risk management process. Define your own settings to easily and visually identify where your vendors are in the TPRM process.

1. Select Settings on the left navigation bar to access the Settings page.

   If you do not see the Settings icon, it means you do not have the right access level.

2. Go to the General tab.
3. Scroll down to the Vendor Life Cycle Settings section.

Adding New Statuses to the Vendor Life Cycle Settings

1. Enter a new status name in the Life Cycle Status Name box.
2. Select a descriptive icon to help you visually identify that status.
3. Indicate its status from the Completion Value dropdown menu.
4. Select +Add to create the new status.

Editing an Existing Status

To edit an existing life cycle status:

1. Select the Pencil icon of the corresponding status.
2. Change the Life Cycle Status Name by replacing the text with the desired one.
3. Select the box to the right of the field to open the color picker and modify the status color.
4. Use the Icon dropdown to change the status icon.
5. Use the Completion Value dropdown to modify the status.
6. Select the Checkmark to save your changes.

Deleting an Existing Status

To delete an existing life cycle status, select the Trash button of the corresponding status.
