Bitsight VRM tools are designed to help you collect the right information and ask the most appropriate questions based on the vendors’ risk to the organization - that’s why requirements are so important. Reviewing your vendor response to your requirements means reviewing your vendor Assurances.

Reviewing Insurances, External Audits and Assessments
If you have requested your vendor to provide these types of artifacts, you will observe your requirements at the beginning of each corresponding section.
In addition to your requested documents, if any, the vendor may have uploaded other artifacts, or they may have also marked some of them as Not Available.
To view an uploaded artifact, select View Document.
The Sample Company Documents window will pop up, where you will see the document detail, and an option to download it.
Once you have reviewed the document, you can set it as reviewed using the Set as Reviewed button.
The reviewer, date, and time will be logged for your reference.
If the vendor has marked any of your required artifacts as Not Available and you want to set it as reviewed, select the View icon. A window will pop up.
Use the Set as Reviewed button to set it as reviewed.

If needed, you can unset the document as reviewed by clicking on the Unset Review button.
The applicable labels (Required, Completed, Not Available, Reviewed) will be visible for each corresponding artifact.
Reviewing Certifications
Certifications are laid out the following sections:
At the top, you will find those that you requested your vendor to provide individually.
In the middle, you will find those where at least one in a group of certifications is to be provided by your vendor.
At the bottom, you will find those certifications that the vendor has uploaded, although they were not requested by you.
To view the certification details and to download the document(s), select View. A window will pop open.
Once you have reviewed the document, you can set it as reviewed using on the Set as Reviewed button.
