Beacon: Accessing and Filling Out Questionnaires

If you have been requested to complete some questionnaires by a customer, you will find them on the Questionnaires page in Beacon.

Required questionnaires are laid out in the following manner:

• Top Section: All surveys are required.
  Each questionnaire in this section is to be completed.
• Middle Section: At least 1 survey in each group required.
  Questionnaires in this section are grouped. As long as one of them in each card is completed, the requirement is considered to be fulfilled.

You can also complete questionnaires that have not been requested by your customers. To view the available ones in our portfolio, click on the Show icon in the Optional Surveys section.

Accessing a Questionnaire

To access a questionnaire, simply click on it. It will open in a new tab.

Uploading a Previously Completed Questionnaire

Be sure you are uploading a XLS formatted document. Your survey column headers should match the Legacy Bitsight VRM uploader format. To check this, download our copy and cross check your headers with ours. Common headers that are off include Question RefID (3PT), Answers (3PT) and Notes (3PT).

If you are uploading a SIG survey, the best solution is to save the Full or Lite tab as a csv and ensure the column headers match ours, which can be accessed by downloading a copy.

Submitting Your Assessment

Once you fulfill all the requirements, the assessment is automatically submitted. There is no Submit button. Your answers are stored as you provide them. Your documents are saved as you upload them.
