The Data Vault provides an opportunity for cyber insurers to ingest the underlying data behind Bitsight Security Ratings without the Cyber Insurance application. The data is delivered through a flat file in AWS S3. See the file format details.
Available for Cyber Insurance users.
The data can be manipulated to create derivative work on the resulting analysis.
- Find signal in historical claims data with respect to Bitsight scores.
- Tune underwriting guidelines and direct behavior on what to pay attention to during the risk selection period.
- Analyze the underlying Security Ratings data feed for a signal against historical claims.
- Up to 5 years of daily historical ratings and risk vector grades are included.

Setup
To set up the Data Vault, submit a list of either unique domains associated with the companies or their company names to Bitsight. It is used to search for companies in the Bitsight inventory.
