Delete a User
Deleting a user cannot be undone. Deleting a user also deletes any shared folders that they created. We recommend assigning an active owner to a folder before deletion to ensure the folder can still be managed.
Instructions:
- Select the More Options next to the user you’d like to delete.
- Select Delete.
- Select Yes, Delete User.

- Contact Type
- Indicates if the user is assigned as a subscription or collaboration contact type.
- The user’s email address.
- Group
- The user’s access control group.
- Joined (UTC)
- The date and time when the user’s account was activated.
- Last Login (UTC)
- The date and time when the user last logged in.
- SPM / CM Role
- The user’s role.
- Status
- The user’s account status.
- Two-Factor Authentication
- The user’s 2-factor authentication (2FA) status.
- User Name
- The user’s name.
- VRM Role
- The user’s role for Bitsight VRM functions.
