Security Performance Management Menu – October 28, 2024

We’ve updated the menu in the Security Performance Management application. To support easier navigation to popular pages and between pages frequently used together, the pages within the menu were moved and recategorized and several pages were renamed.

Notes:

• No pages were added or removed.
• No functionalities were changed.
• Page URLs or API endpoints were unchanged, so all page bookmarks and integrations you may have are unaffected by this change.
• Not all pages may be available depending on your specific package.

Dashboard

The Dashboard is now a dedicated landing page without any nested pages nested underneath it. This page continues to provide an overview of your company’s key metrics, as it always has, but now functions as its own top-level item.

Organization

The Organization section now houses all pages relating to your organization and its ratings. The following pages were added (in addition to the pages this section contained before, such as the Ratings Tree and My Company List):

• Rating Details
• Assessments
• Bitsight Badge

Findings

The Findings section revamps the Risks section to focus on findings and evidence of risk in a company’s external attack surface.

• Findings is now Findings Table to distinguish it in the category name and is now the first page in the category as it is the most used.
• For those with access to the Issue Tracking feature, the Issue Tracking dashboard has been moved into this section as well, making it easier to track and remediate issues in fewer clicks.
• For those with premium external attack surface management, Vulnerability Detection is available in this section.

Attack Surface

The Attack Surface section has an updated order of pages, but contains the same pages, enabling management of your organization’s External Attack Surface map in Bitsight and getting insight into it.

Action Plans

The Action Plans section includes all capabilities related to your action plans and advanced tools for governing your security posture and risk.

• The Rating Improvement page has been renamed to “Forecasting” to simplify the capability name and align with a common alternative term for the feature.
• For users with access to Financial Quantification, this feature has also been relocated to this section.
• The Collaboration Inbox has been moved out of this section.

Peer Comparison

The Peer Comparison section remains mostly unchanged, with a slight reordering of pages and the category for better flow. The key features for comparing your organization to a Peer Group of companies or a specific set of Benchmark companies are still available here.

Collaboration

The Collaboration Inbox has been moved out of the Action Plans section, was renamed to Collaboration and is now a top-level navigation item. This allows for quicker access to received collaboration invitations on the Bitsight platform.

Alerts and Reports

Both the Alerts and Reports sections remain unchanged in this update, retaining their current layout and functionality.
