Assessments permissions by role and by action

Assessments in Vendor Risk Management let users assess vendors. A user's role determines who can open the Assessments Overview, perform assessments, and view assessments. This article lists the assessment permissions for each role and for each action.

Roles referenced on this page: Users with the Admin, Group Admin, Portfolio Manager, Operations, Internal Business User, User, or View Only role.

What can my role do?

Access the Assessments 
Overview

✅ Admins, Operations, and View Only can do this.

❌ Internal Business Users cannot do this.

➖ Not applicable to Group Admins, Portfolio Managers, and Users.
 

Perform assessments

✅ Admins and Operations can do this.

✅ Internal Business Users can perform assessments for assigned vendors only.

❌ View Only cannot do this.

➖ Not applicable to Group Admins, Portfolio Managers, and Users.
 

View assessments

✅ Admins, Operations, and View Only can do this.

✅ Internal Business Users can view assessments for assigned vendors only.

➖ Not applicable to Group Admins, Portfolio Managers, and Users.
