Remediation Forecasts

The Remediation Forecast is an indication of what rating can be achieved over a short, 3-month period. If you have purchased Bitsight Forecasting, you can use the Remediation Forecast as the starting point for a forecast that can be modified according to your plans and results in a full, 12-month forecast.

Remediation Forecasts contain two types of pre-populated forecast scenarios:

• Take No Action: The gray range of the graph and the gray box represents the likely rating after 3 months if no findings were remediated.
• Remediate Findings: The blue range of the graph and the blue box represents the likely rating after 3 months if improvements to the processes and controls were made today and all findings in the right-hand column of the Asset Risk Matrix [All High (3x3 matrix) or All Severe (4x4 matrix)] were remediated and did not re-occur.
