- January 19, 2022: Updated to include user permissions.
- November 30, 2021: Added navigation for the SPM and Continuous Monitoring applications.
- December 7, 2020: Added “Go to the My Company tab” as part of the opt-in/opt-out instructions and added direct links to the Bitsight platform.
You can generally only view your “My Company” content (such as IP addresses, My Infrastructure, and Forensics) for your own company. With Manage IP Visibility, you’ll be able to:
- Identify where problems are occurring and validate the findings.
- Have more informed conversations with your third parties regarding remediation, and then prioritize based on asset criticality.
Managing IP Visibility
To protect the confidentiality of an organization, we abide by our Responsible Disclosure Policy. We ask that you continue to uphold the same level of confidentiality and responsibility, by accepting the Terms and Conditions for viewing the full IP addresses of your third parties. If you agree to the terms, you can view the full IP addresses that belong to companies in your portfolio.
Go to the Portfolio tab of your Manage IP Visibility settings. You can either enable all companies in your portfolio, including those that are added at a later time, or select certain companies in your portfolio.
All companies reserve the right to opt-out. If a company has opted-out of Manage IP Visibility, their IP addresses will remain masked.
How to Opt-out of IP Visibility
Go to the My Company tab of your Manage IP Visibility settings to keep your IP addresses masked for companies that are monitoring you. This will mask the first two octets of the IP addresses for your entire organization (all companies in your Ratings Tree).
