IP addresses are a type of asset that are attributed to an organization. Use the IP Addresses tab to see externally-facing infrastructure (IP addresses and CIDR blocks) that are attributed to the organization, report missing infrastructure, and to set an end date for the association.
Navigation Options
SPM App: Go to the Attribution page [ Attack Surface ➔ Attribution ➔ IP Addresses]
Go to the Assets tab to view assets that are attributed to the infrastructure.
Fields
| Field | Description |

| CIDR Block | The associated asset (IP address or CIDR block). |
| Source | The source used to associate the infrastructure to the company. |
| Country | The two-letter country code listed in the registration. |
| Start Date | The date when this infrastructure was attributed to the company. |
| End Date | Either the date when this infrastructure was no longer valid (not attributed) or is still “active.” |
| Attributed To | The organization or subsidiary attributed to this asset. |
| IP Count | The number of IP addresses in this CIDR block. |
Source of IP/CIDR Attribution
View the reason why an IP or CIDR has been attributed to your organization.
Refer to the “Source” column to determine why an IP address or CIDR block was attributed to your organization. If the source was not company-provided or is a custom subnet, click the More Information button to view more details; such as the organization’s name or the email associated with registration.
Delete or Identify Expired Infrastructure
For custom subnets:
Select the Trash icon option among the IP Addresses tab actions to delete a custom subnet. Since these are made up of user-defined IP addresses (subnet) for infrastructure tagging purposes, deletion is immediate and the bigger range will still be part of the infrastructure after removal.
For company-provided infrastructure:
Select the Trash icon and enter the date when you stopped using this range or singular IP in the “End Date” field. Click Submit to request expiration. If a company-provided infrastructure is submitted for expiration, it will take 1-2 days to process. Findings associated with that range or singular IP will be removed accordingly. This change will affect impacted company report(s) and rating(s) will be recalculated from the selected end-date onwards.
