Provisional Ratings

Unlike a fully mapped Bitsight curated rating, provisional ratings are a type of rating and rating designation that consists of companies that have not yet been fully mapped. They’re created by mapping assets through an entirely automated discovery process, which is the first step of the full network mapping process.

While a provisional rating is accurate, it may be missing some information when compared to a fully mapped, Bitsight curated rating.
