Use folders to monitor the cybersecurity performance of a collective group of organizations. Folders can be used to organize and better understand the security performance of certain groups of companies, such as IT vendors.
- Categorize companies by importance.
- Make your portfolio more manageable. Folders allow you to be able to quickly determine how a specific company compares to the average of any folder. Just like your portfolio, you can see aggregate statistics about folders, such as the median security rating.
- Each folder can enable various alert parameters to help your organization better monitor the security performance of certain groups of companies.
Available with National Cybersecurity.

Folder Management
Refer to the Manage Folders page [Portfolio ➔ Folders ➔ Manage Folders] for folder management tasks.
Creating Folders
- Select the Create a Folder button at the top-right.
- Assign a name for the folder.
You are the owner of this folder, which determines user permissions if a folder is shared.
Sharing Folders
To share a folder with other users or Access Control Groups:
- Go to the folder from the Manage Folders page.
- Select Actions ﹀ ➔ Share Folder at the top-right.
- Select who the folder can be shared with (Share with).
- All Users: All existing and future users across all access control groups.
- Specific Users: Specific users in any group.
- Access Control Groups: All existing and future users within specific groups.
- Determine user permissions for the folder (Permissions for all users).
- View: Read-only.
- Manage Companies: Add or remove companies from the folder.
- Own the folder: Assign additional owners for portfolio folders. Owners can rename, configure sharing settings, or delete the folder.
- Select Save to confirm.
Deleting a user account also deletes any shared folders that the deleted user created. Assign an active owner to a folder before deletion to ensure the folder has an owner and can still be managed.
