Infections are when devices or machines in an organization’s network show symptoms of malicious or unwanted software. Navigation Options SPM App: Organization ➔ Company Details ➔ Infections CM App: Vendor Risk ➔ Overview ➔ Infections Insurance App: Client Risk ➔ Overview ➔ Infections Field Description Name The name of the malware that infected the system. Severity The Bitsight severity of the infection. First Seen The date when the infection was first detected [DD-MM-YYYY]. Change The change in the number of hosts impacted by this infection from the last 90 days and to the prior 90 days. Impacted Hosts The number of hosts that are impacted by the infection.
