Document Security: Malicious File Scanning for Uploads Erin Conry To ensure the security of our platform and protect our users, Bitsight has integrated Cloudflare's malicious document scanning capabilities. This system automatically scans files during the upload process to prevent malicious content from entering our system, particularly within document-heavy products like VRM and TMH.Detection and Notification ProcessWhen a file is being uploaded, Cloudflare performs a real-time scan for malicious code or embedded malicious links. If a threat is detected, the following actions occur:Upload Blocked: The system immediately terminates the upload attempt to prevent the file from being stored on our servers.User Notification: The user attempting the upload receives a notification informing them that the file has been flagged as potentially malicious and blocked.June 9, 2026: Published.
