Rating Related Risk Panel

The Rating Related Risk panel shows the likelihood of a ransomware incident or data breach at a company based on their Bitsight Rating.

In the Security Posture Management app, this panel is found on the Company Details page. It displays your own company’s risk, including your subsidiaries.

In the Continuous Monitoring app, this information is found on the Vendor Overview page. It displays the risk of breach or ransomware incident at a monitored company.

The likelihoods displayed in the Rating Related Risk panel are determined using two Bitsight Studies:

• Bitsight Security Ratings Correlate to Breaches
• The Bitsight Security Ratings' Correlate to Ransomware

These studies demonstrate powerful external correlations between a company’s Bitsight Security Rating and its likelihood of experiencing a security event.
