Bitsight Badge Setup Ingrid Refer to the following instructions to enable, disable, and configure your Bitsight Badge. You must be an Admin or Group Admin to enable, disable, and configure your Bitsight Badge. Non-Admins can view the Bitsight Badge page, but cannot make any changes to existing configurations. Enabling Your Bitsight Badge Use the context switcher to select either the company or subsidiary to be featured in the Bitsight Badge. Go to the Bitsight Badge page from the navigation menu [ Organization ➔ Bitsight Badge]. Activate the Enable Bitsight Badge toggle at the top-left to enable your Bitsight Badge. If this is your first time using the feature, review the terms and conditions pop-up then select Continue. How to disable the Bitsight BadgeDisabling Your Bitsight BadgeYou can disable your badge without removing the embed code from your website by deactivating the Enable Rating Sharing toggle at the top-left of the Bitsight Badge page. To maintain the formatting of your web page, the disabled badge is replaced with the following placeholder of the same size:Configuring Your Bitsight BadgeConfigure your badge from the Badges tab [ Organization ➔ Bitsight Badge ➔ Badges].LayoutEach layout option has a unique size, shape, and included content. How to configure the Bitsight BadgeBadge ConfigurationsConfigure your badge from the Badge configurations section in the Badge tab [ Organization ➔ Bitsight Badge ➔ Badge]. The configuration determines what information is loaded to your website, as outlined in the following table: Field Description My Rating Customize how your rating is presented on your badge. 90-Day Average: Your average rating over the last 90 days. Current Rating: Your rating as it is in the platform. Allowed Domains Direct where to display the badge by entering the domain in this field. If the badge does not appear, try adding the full URL to this field and try again. The embed code only works on web pages with domains designated by this field. The embed code makes a request to the trust.bitsighttech.com host in order to update your rating. If your website has a Content Security Policy (CSP), you will need to allow requests from trust.bitsighttech.com as an approved domain. Refer to Mozilla MDN Web Docs for an example of how to add a trusted domain to your CSP. Once your Bitsight Badge is configured, select Save changes to finalize your badge configuration.Get the badge embed code [ Organization ➔ Bitsight Badge ➔ Copy Embed Code] and provide it to your website development team to add to the relevant webpage.
