Instant Insights is a feature for the Vendor Risk Management and Trust Management Hub (TMH) applications that uses generative AI to extract a SOC2 Type II report’s contents, analyzes them, and then summarizes the contents into deep and actionable insights.

Enabling or Disabling Instant Insights

How to enable or disable Instant Insights

Use the toggle in the AI Features section of the User Preferences tab in the Account page [ Settings ➔ Account ➔ User Preferences] to enable or disable Instant Insights. Instant Insights can be enabled either for all vendors or none of them.

Opted Scenarios

Disabling Instant Insights for Risk Assessors in VRM:

Users cannot use AI to review and summarize the documentation uploaded by your vendors within their Trust Management Hub application to speed up the security assessment process.

Disabling Instant Insights for vendors within TMH:

Prevents all connected accounts from using Instant Insights on your SOC 2 reports.

If you are a Risk Assessor and a vendor has disabled Instant Insights:

Reach out to the vendor and ask them to enable it in order to use it on their SOC 2 Type II reports.
