Configure User Preferences

Use the User Preferences tab [ Settings ➔ Account ➔ User Preferences] in the Account page to configure your user preferences.

Alerts Integrations

Share alerts with non-Bitsight users. Available for the following integrations:

• Microsoft Teams
• Slack

Asset Risk Matrix Preferences

Configure the size and color theme of the Asset Risk Matrix.

Beta Features

Enable or disable beta features.

AI Features

Enable or disable AI features, such as Instant Insights.

Color Themes

Set the color scheme to display and view Bitsight applications.

Company API Token

Generate or view your company API tokens.

Data Residency

Data Residency allows you to set your operational region for storing, processing, and managing your Vendor Risk Management (“VRM”) and Trust Management Hub (“TMH”) data.

This is an account-wide setting.

Email Preferences

Email alerts are generated when the Bitsight Security Rating of a company in your portfolio changes within a 7-day period. Alerts are delivered Monday through Friday at 9:00 a.m. (EDT). See notification types.

Language and Region

Select your preferred language and region for the Bitsight application or your preferred language and region for reports. Options include: German, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, and Portuguese.

Password Settings

Update or change your password. You will be able to enter your current password and then enter a new password. See the Bitsight Password Policy.

If you've forgotten your password, use the Forgot your password? link on the login page of the Bitsight Security Ratings Platform. It will send an email containing a link that will allow you to reset your password to the Bitsight registered email address.

Risk Analytics

Select your preferred color theme for the Risk Analytics page.

Two-Factor Authentication

Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) to get an extra layer of security to your account.

• Configure 2FA for your account.
• Enforce 2FA for all users or specific users.
• Integrate your existing authentication mechanism via SAML.

User API Token

Generate or view your user API token.
