Slack Integration

Integrate the Bitsight platform with Slack to get your Bitsight alerts in Slack. This integration posts the top 5 ratings changes, top 5 risk vector changes, and top 10 severe breaches to your chosen Slack channel once per day.

• See priority alerts on a daily basis.
• Be notified of breaches and view breach details in the Bitsight platform.
• Quick access to all alerts in the Bitsight platform.
• Share alerts with non-Bitsight users.

Configuration Instructions

1. Navigate to the Account page [Settings ➔ Account]. The User Preferences tab is open by default.
2. Scroll to the Alerts Integrations section and select Configure.
3. Enter your Slack credentials into the New authentication field:
   • Your authentication name
   • Slash command signing secret: This can be left blank.
4. Enter your Bitsight credentials:
   • Your authentication name
   • API Key: Enter your user API token.
5. Select a time to receive your alerts.
6. Select a Slack channel to post your alerts.
7. Select Finish.

Once configured, this integration is enabled and disabled from the same section on the Account page.
