Bitsight VRM: Using Instant Insights

Instant Insights is a feature for the Vendor Risk Management and Trust Management Hub applications that uses generative AI to extract a SOC2 Type II report’s contents, analyzes them, and then summarizes the contents into deep and actionable insights.

To begin the analysis for Bitsight VRM:

1. Select a vendor and then go to the Requirements page [ Vendor Profile ➔ Requirements] in the Vendor Risk Management application.
2. Look for a SOC 2 document (type 1 or type 2).
3. Select the Get Instant Insights option from the Actions column.

Each control extracted as key information includes references to the pages in the document where the information was sourced. You can also preview the document to confirm the accuracy of the AI responses.
