Adding Companies in Bulk

You can add up to 20 companies to your portfolio at a time in the Bitsight platform. If you'd like to add more than 20 companies, the Support team can assist you.

This process is only applicable to the Continuous Monitoring application.

Permissions

Only Admins can bulk add companies to Bitsight via Support. See subscription permissions.

Requirements

• Entity GUIDs: GUID is an unique identifier within Bitsight portal, if you want to subscribe to specific companies, the GUID should be provided. 
• Domains (mandatory): The domains of the companies to add to your portfolio. Note that we can only map domains, not folders or directories.
• Company Names: The names of the companies to add to your portfolio. If only a company name is provided (and not a domain), Support can suggest domains for each company. However, the domains have to be reviewed by the requester before proceeding.
• Subscriptions: The subscription type that should be applied to each company. You must have enough subscriptions to add the requested companies to your portfolio. Before submitting your request, make sure your subscription quota is sufficient to cover the changes. If you need additional subscriptions, contact your Account Manager for assistance.

Instructions

Use the Bulk Portfolio Changes Template to format the data, then email the template and your request details to Bitsight Support.

If you want to include vendor details (optional), be sure to provide:

• Folder Name: The exact name of the folder to add the company to. If you want to add a company to more than one folder, please enter the folder names in one cell, separated by comma. Note: The folders must be already created.
• Tier: The tier of the company. Note: The tiers should already be set up by the customer. A company can only be assigned to one Tier. 
• Custom ID (max 255 characters): The custom ID to assign to the company.
