Enable or Disable Tag Inheritance – April 24, 2025

Infrastructure tag inheritance can now be enabled or disabled. This automatically applies and manages tag inheritance across the following assets:

• Related domains > subdomains
• CIDR > Sub-CIDR and IP addresses

Having full control of tag inheritance:

• Ensures flexible control over how tags are passed down.
• Ensures consistent tagging across assets with automatic inheritance.
• Saves time by eliminating repetitive manual tag assignments.

Example: Control when a tag on your primary domain gets automatically associated with any of its subdomains.

Configure tag inheritance from the Account Preferences tab.
