Infrastructure tag inheritance can now be enabled or disabled. This automatically applies and manages tag inheritance across the following assets:
- Related domains > subdomains
- CIDR > Sub-CIDR and IP addresses
Having full control of tag inheritance:
- Ensures flexible control over how tags are passed down.
- Ensures consistent tagging across assets with automatic inheritance.
- Saves time by eliminating repetitive manual tag assignments.
Example: Control when a tag on your primary domain gets automatically associated with any of its subdomains.
Configure tag inheritance from the Account Preferences tab.
Disabling tag inheritance does not affect public tags from the third-party view perspective.
