Customize your Company ID

A unique identifier is assigned to all entities in the Bitsight inventory, known as the company ID. Company metadata is used to keep companies organized by mapping the ID with Bitsight data.

The company ID is presented as Company Information, which is displayed on the Company Details page in the SPM App and on the Overview page in the CM and Insurance Apps.

Instructions

1. Select the Edit button in the panel.
2. Select either the Set Custom ID link or Edit button, located next to the “Company ID” field.
3. Once the custom ID is assigned, select Done.

Need to remove a customized company ID?

To remove a custom ID, select the Delete button when editing Company Info.
