The Change Log tab in the Infrastructure page highlights when IP addresses or domains are newly attributed to, or removed from, your organization. The comparison reflects changes between the current and previous day’s infrastructure attribution.
The Change Log displays infrastructure attribution updates for the company where the attribution changed. Only the company gaining or losing attribution for an asset will show the related entry in the table.
Changes may result from updates in company relationships such as mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures, as well as domain or IP registration updates. Infrastructure data originates from automated sources, company-provided inputs, and manual curation.
You can use the Change Log to
- identify IP addresses and domains that were recently added to or removed from your organization’s infrastructure
- track attribution updates that reflect when infrastructure becomes newly associated with or disassociated from your organization
- analyze and export infrastructure change data for use in internal monitoring and asset management systems
- validate newly attributed assets to ensure they belong to your organization and are properly managed
- detect shadow infrastructure or untracked assets that appear outside established IT processes
- maintain visibility over all changes affecting your organization’s digital footprint and act on them proactively
