If you are already using OneTrust Vendorpedia for vendor risk management and have vendors in your inventory, refer to the following instructions to update vendors within OneTrust in bulk and connect them to the Bitsight platform:
- View vendor attributes from the Vendor Management module by going to Attributes Manager ➔ View.
- Activate the following fields or make sure they are active (see field mapping):
- Bitsight Rating
- Bitsight Category
- Bitsight Rating Date
- Bitsight Domain
- View Vendor in Bitsight
- External ID
- Export your view as an Excel file by going to Export ➔ Export Current View at the top-right.
- Export your Bitsight portfolio. See GET: Portfolio Details.
If you have vendors in your Bitsight portfolio that do not exist in OneTrust, they will be created in later stages when the Bitsight workflow is activated.
- Map the vendors in the Excel file in the following manner:
- Bitsight = Unique Identifiers (GUID)
- OneTrust = External ID
- Save and upload the file to OneTrust [Users and Groups ➔ Bulk Import ➔ New Import]:
- Assign a name to the import.
Example: Bitsight ID Update
- Import Type = Update Vendors
- Assign a name to the import.
- Click Submit.
- Create your OneTrust credentials.
- Test the workflow by going to Context Menu ➔ Test Workflow ➔ Run Test. Make sure you get the “200 OK” message.
- There should be no vendors in your inventory.
- Make sure your credentials are present and correct.
- Confirm your workflow creation by going to Close ➔ Activate ➔ OK.
The workflow will be in the Integrations module of the Connections page.
To see you vendors, go to Vendor Management ➔ Vendors.
