Working with Tables: Columns and Views Erin Conry Bitsight tables share a common set of controls for customizing how data is displayed: Customize Columns: choose which fields appear Reorder and Resize Columns: arrange columns to your preference Freeze Columns: keep key columns visible while scrolling horizontally Table Views: save and pin your preferred configurations Customize ColumnsChoose which fields are displayed as columns in the table.Instructions Select the Customize Columns button at the top-right of the table. Check or uncheck fields to include or exclude them from the table. Select Apply Changes. Each field includes a short description to help you decide whether to display it. Field availability varies by table; see the individual table's article (e.g. Findings: Findings Table) for the full list of fields specific to that table.Reorder and Resize ColumnsPersonalize the layout of a table to match your workflow.Instructions Reorder: Select and drag a column header to move it left or right. Resize: Select and drag the edge of a column header to widen or narrow it. Changes persist for your session and are saved if you save the configuration as a Table View.Freeze ColumnsKeep essential columns stationary while scrolling horizontally through a wide table, so key context (e.g. Finding Identifier, Company Name) stays visible.Instructions Select the column header menu by clicking on the 3 dots icon. Select Freeze Column. Repeat for additional columns. Frozen columns are grouped together at the left edge of the table and remain visible as you scroll. To unfreeze a column, repeat the steps above and select Unfreeze Column.Table ViewsSave a specific combination of filters, columns, and sort order so you can return to it with one click.InstructionsCreate a view Configure the table with your preferred filters, columns, and sort order. Select Save View (or Views ➔ Save as New View — confirm exact menu path). Name the view and select Save. Pin a view Open the Views menu. Select the pin icon next to a saved view. Pinned views appear as one-click tabs at the top of the table. You can pin up to five views per table.Edit or delete a view Open the Views menu. Select a view, then choose Edit or Delete.
