Alerts Overview: Continuous Monitoring

Without automated processes to help you along the way, managing and monitoring the security trends of a growing ecosystem can be time-consuming and costly. Alerts allow your organization to automate how you monitor rating changes that occur in your portfolio and changes to risk vector grades. You can either subscribe to receive email alerts or send alerts to a group of stakeholders by setting up an email address for a distribution list.

Alerts are configured for folders, tiers, or subscriptions. Edit and enable alerts and alert sets from the Alert Settings page [ Settings ➔ Alert Settings] or learn more about:

• Alert Categories
• Change Severities

Alert Generation

The alert generation process can take up to 2 days. Alerts are generated from changes in data. Though ratings and the underlying analytics data are updated daily, there’s a 1 to 2-day lag.
