Alert Settings Tabs

Depending on the application, the Alert Settings page contains the following tabs:

CM App: Tiers and Folders and Alert Sets

Insurance App: Folders and Alert Sets

National Cybersecurity App: Tiers and Folders and Alert Sets

Tiers and Folders

The Tiers and Folders (or Folders) tab contains your alerts. Tiers are not applicable in the Insurance app. Use this tab to:

  • View the details of the alert.
  • Assign Alert Sets. Only shared alerts can be enabled for everyone.

Assigning alerts to “Everyone“ only applies the alert to users within the same Access Control Group (ACG) as the user assigning the alert at the time of assignment. If new users are added to the ACG, they will need the alerts assigned.

The following presets are our recommendations based on importance.

  • Basic: Recommended alerts for low-risk companies.
  • Standard: Recommended alerts for medium-risk companies.
  • Total Coverage: Recommended alerts for high-risk companies.

Admin-Defined

System-wide alerts based on program policy, typically structured using tiers.

User-Defined

Personal alerts created by individual users.

Duplicating Alert Sets

How to duplicate alert sets

You may also duplicate or create your own alert sets and customize it for your specific needs. Select either the Create Alert Set button at the top-right or the Duplicate Alert Set option to copy an existing alert set.

Refer to the help box on the right to determine which alert categories to enable.

Sharing Alert Sets

How to share alert sets

Alert sets can be shared with users in your organization. Select edit.png Edit Alert Set, and then check the Eye Icon Share checkbox at the top-right.

Shared alert sets are only visible to users within the same Access Control Group (ACG) as the user who shared them. If new users are added to the ACG, they will be able to view previously shared alert sets from other users in that ACG.
