Alert Category: Security Ratings

The Security Ratings alert category allows you to set alerts based on security ratings, which includes the following types:

• Ratings Change
• Ratings Threshold Change

Ratings Change

Be alerted when security ratings decrease or increase by a set percentage or number of points. This is useful for monitoring general fluctuations in a company or country's cyber security posture.

Ratings Threshold Change

Be alerted when security ratings cross or reach a set threshold. This is useful for setting ratings requirements, highlights what to change or escalate, and helps start cybersecurity dialogues with your third parties.

If the alert set is assigned to a tier, the ratings threshold in Tier Settings is automatically replaced with risk thresholds.

Fields

Alert

The severity of the change and the Ratings Percent Change or Ratings Threshold Change that were set for the alert.

Category

• Ratings Percent Change: When security ratings decrease or increase by a set percentage.
• Ratings Threshold Change: When security ratings cross or reach a set threshold.

Company

The name of the company associated with the alert.

Date

The date when the alert was generated.

Folder

The folder or tier associated with the alert.
