This includes: The company The company’s subsidiaries Fourth parties Alert Categories are used in the following applications: Continuous Monitoring Insurance National Cybersecurity Fields Field Description Alert The incident type. Category The incident category. Breach Security Incidents: Serious events that usually result in a successful cyberattack and/or data compromise by unauthorized individuals. These are ratings-impacting. General Security Incidents: Other kinds of security events that may still affect security ratings. These are considered more severe than Other Disclosures. Some of these incident types are ratings-impacting, while others are informational only and do not impact the rating. Other Disclosures: Other kinds of publicly disclosed incidents. It’s considered to be the least severe among the Public Disclosures incident categories. Its impact to business continuity is minimal if they were to occur. Therefore, these are informational and do not currently affect Bitsight Security Ratings. Company The name of the company associated with the alert. Date The date when the alert was generated.
