Add Vendors in the VRM App

Refer to the following steps to add vendors and build your vendor inventory.

Instructions

Add a Vendor

1. Select Add Vendor at the top-right of the Vendors page.
2. Enter the vendor’s domain. If the vendor is not listed in the search results, you can still add their domain to start the assessment right away.
3. Select a vendor from the Select a Company dropdown.
4. Select Add Vendor.

Add vendors in bulk

1. Download the template (ver. 06-JAN-2025).
2. Fill out the template. Guidelines are provided in the document.
3. Send the document to Bitsight Support.

Good to Know

• Learn more about the vendor connection workflow.
• Check the Add to Continuous Monitoring checkbox to also monitor the vendor in the Continuous Monitoring application.
• If you want to get their Bitsight rating, use the Company Requests page to request having them added to the Bitsight inventory.
