⇤ Alerts Overview: Security Performance Management
New Findings alerts allow you to specify criteria and receive alerts when new findings are observed that meet it.
This alert type is only available with the EASM Enhanced Module.
Configuration Options
You can use quick settings and filters to configure alerts for specific kinds of new findings. A sample of findings that meet your criteria are shown in the Matching Findings table.
Quick Settings
You can use any of the following Bitsight filter sets or one of your saved filter sets to quickly set criteria for a New Findings alert.
| Filter Set | Description |
|---|---|
| Impacts RV Grade Only | Receive alerts for findings that impact a risk vector grade. This includes findings for informational risk vectors that do not impact the Bitsight rating. |
| Bad and Warn Findings | Receive alerts for findings with grades of Bad or Warn. |
| Impacts Bitsight Rating | Receive alerts for findings within a risk vector that impact the Bitsight rating, which excludes informational and beta risk vectors that do not impact the Bitsight rating. |
| New Findings | Receive alerts for all new findings (first seen 1 day ago). |
Filters
The Matching Findings table leverages the same filters as the Findings table except:
- Assigned to
- Duration
- First Seen Date
- Last Seen Date
- Lifetime
- Patching Cadence Remediated
- Refresh
- Remaining Lifetime
- Remediation Status
- Status Update Date
