How To Assign Asset Importance Ingrid Asset importance (low, medium, high, critical, or none) estimates the importance of the underlying IP or domain/host to the organization, as visually depicted in the Asset Risk Matrix. To set user-assigned asset importance: Use the Context Switcher dropdown from top of the Security Posture Management application to select a company. Go to the Assets tab of the Infrastructure page [ Attack Surface ➔ Infrastructure ➔ Assets]. Identify up to 40 assets to customize by checking the Checkbox of the corresponding rows. Select the Update Importance button at the top of the table. Select a new importance level, which is used to display data in the Asset Risk Matrix and filtering, from the Asset Importance dropdown in the Customize Asset Importance window. Calculated Importance Critical High Medium Low None = Excludes assets, providing a more precise prioritization of findings (e.g., Guest Wi-Fi network exit IPs). Select Save.
