How to Parse a CSV File in a Spreadsheet Processor

If a spreadsheet processor software (such as Microsoft® Excel) is generating multiple or double commas, ensure the file is correctly parsed:

1. Double-click the file or select Open with to open the file.
2. Select Text-to-Columns in the “Data context” menu. The selection will open a wizard panel.
3. In the wizard panel, select Delimited.
4. Select:
   • “Comma” as the delimiter.
   • “Quotes” as the text qualifier.
