The Security Performance Management application offers a number of ways to help you decide where to focus remediation efforts in your own organization and where to start conversations with other parties.

Asset Risk Matrix

Assesses the importance of individual assets (hostname/domain and IP addresses) and severity of associated security findings.

Assets

A comprehensive list of assets (Hostname/Domain and IP Addresses) that are attributed to an organization. It provides additional details on findings that are associated with those assets.

Attack Surface Analytics

Provides insight into your organization’s possible surfaces of attack by analyzing the assets (hostname/domain and IP addresses).

Identify gaps in your organization’s security controls.

Findings

Findings are the culmination of observed internet traffic and configurations. They’re recorded on the Bitsight platform as events and records. Findings are reported in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC).

Issue Tracking

Plan, track, and report on your finding remediation process. Assign Remediation Statuses and users in your organization to findings to track progress remediating them.

My Company Dashboard

Highlights recent changes to your organization’s Bitsight Security Ratings and supporting data (e.g., ratings, new findings, and infrastructure changes).

Peer Analytics

Provides an objective, data-driven comparison between companies and peer groups.

Forecasting

Observes patterns and projects possible future ratings by extracting information from existing data sets.

Remediation Strategy Panel

Determine which risk vectors have the largest possible improvement on an organization’s security posture if remediated.

Risk Remediation

Identify and remediate high-impact findings to improve risk vector grades.

Subsidiary Improvement
