Bulk Portfolio Changes

Make bulk changes to your portfolio directly within the Bitsight platform.

If you have a lot of bulk changes that need to be made at once, submit a request to the Bitsight Support team. Bitsight Support can help apply any of the following changes to your portfolio in bulk:

• Folders: Add or remove companies in a folder.
• Tiers: Add or remove companies in a tier.
• Custom ID: Assign custom company IDs.

To submit a request, provide the following information:

• A summary of your desired changes.
• Company names.
• Company globally unique identifiers (GUID).

To get company names and company GUIDs, create a custom report using the Companies and Subscription Details data set [Reports ➔ Custom Reports]. Add a Company GUID column. If a company does not already exist in the Bitsight inventory, refer to the company requests process.

Use the Bulk Portfolio Changes Template to format the data and then email the template along with your request details to Bitsight Support.

Frequently Asked Questions

If we don’t have company GUIDs, can company names be used?

No. Company names are not unique and the company must match exactly to an existing company in your portfolio.
