Prerequisites required for the Bitsight Jira integration

This integration application requires customers to set up their Atlassian account and create an Atlassian site, Bitsight account, and configure the application in ‘Jira Spaces’. Please follow the instructions outlined below to complete the setup.  

Set up your Atlassian Account  

1. Visit https://www.atlassian.com/  
2. Sign up with an email account.  
3. Your Atlassian account is created.  

On the same site mentioned above, you will be prompted to create a site like ‘youremailname.atlassian.net’. Click on continue and your Atlassian site will be created. This can be used to access Atlassian products like Jira, Confluence, etc. We will need Jira for this integration. 

You will also need to generate an API token.
