Configuring the integration for Jira Service Management Erin Conry Go to your Atlassian site’s Jira page (Example: https://<youratlassian-site>.atlassian.net/jira/for-you) Locate the gear icon ( Top right corner beside the profile photo. Click on it. A drop-down menu appears. Select ‘Work items.’ You will be navigated to another tab. Select Work type screen schemes from the ‘Screens’ section in the left side bar. Click on your space link. Its ‘YourSpaceKey: Jira Service Management Issue Type Screen Scheme’. In our case its ‘BSM: Jira Service Management Issue Type Screen Scheme’ Select a work type where you want to add your custom fields. These work types may vary based on the template you are using for your service management space. In this case we have [System] Incident, [System] Problem, [System] change, [System] Post-incident review, Task, etc. We will select [System] Incident for this example. Click on the link next to ‘Create Issue’. This will let us add our custom fields on the create screen which will be required by our app. Scroll down, click on the ‘Select Field…’ bar and search for our custom fields (Rolled Up Observation ID, Company GUID, Risk Vector, Evidence Key). Just selecting them would add them. To verify that fields are added correctly, click on + Create button on Top-middle of the screen. Select your current service management space, select your work type on which you added the fields ([System] Incident in this case), scroll down to see our custom fields.
