A managed vendor can be reassessed using the workflow below. Please note that you need to configure the life cycle settings before performing the vendor reassessment.
Prerequisite: Configure Life Cycle Settings
To reassess a vendor, first configure your Life Cycle settings. If these are already completed, you can proceed to the next section.
- Navigate to the Life Cycle page [
Assessments Setup ➔ Life Cycle].
- Use the default Life Cycle settings or configure custom ones for your company. You can choose between the value Pending or Completed for each configured stage.
- Pending indicates you are actively working with the vendor or performing the assessment. When a vendor is marked with this value, they will receive notifications to encourage their participation.
- Completed indicates you finished the vendor assessment either with positive or negative results. Once the vendor is marked as completed, they will no longer receive notifications.
Reassess a Vendor
Once you have the Life Cycle settings configured, you can proceed with reassessing the vendor.
- Go to your
Vendors page.
- Select one vendor from your Managed vendors.
- On the vendor’s Overview page [
Vendor Profile ➔ Overview], select Change the Life Cycle Stage.
- Update the Life Cycle to one of the Pending options, such as Initiated or In Review.
- On the same page, scroll down to change the Requirements Due Date.
- This will ensure that reminder notifications are sent to the vendor based on the new due date settings.
You can download and save each year’s set of documents and questionnaire responses by adding the documents to that vendor’s internal documents. These can then be viewed on the Security Profile page [ Vendor Profile ➔ Security Profile].
